Why I Started Painting

Updated: Feb 11

I started painting because my brain was always going a mile a minute and I needed it to slow down! Somehow I found my way to a paint brush; the feeling of mushing paint into the brush (and occasionally on myself) was just the therapy I needed. My process is simple, pick some colors, pick a canvas, pick a feeling, and let it out. I NEVER in a million years thought I would be a painter, I mean sure I was artistic but a painter... NEVER! I guess it is as a good friend once told me, just live life, don't be so bogged down in what you want to be that you can't become who you are (I am paraphrasing because I am poetic and your girl is nice like that). Until next time, see you in the AM!
